This Portal defines the technical specifications, guidelines, and best practices to successfully provide content to Paramount’s Media Supply Chain (MSC). The MSC Ingest process is a series of automated and manual validation steps that ensure Paramount acquires the necessary and required content and metadata. Adhering to the requirements outlined in this Portal will ensure the correct and timely delivery to Paramount.
General overview
- Deliveries must be submitted via Paramount’s Media Ingest Portal.
- Deliveries should follow Paramount’s preferable programme build.
- Paramount requires deliveries in native frame rate and in original aspect ratio.
- Whether the video is Parted or Seamless, Paramount requires delivery of segmentation rundown indicating the timecodes for commercial breaks.
- If source material is Parted each commercial black should be 2 seconds long.
